About this notice

Made While Little LLC operates this website and the Made While Little app. The app is made for parents and caregivers. It is not designed for children to create accounts or use on their own.

Photos, drawings, and book drafts

You choose what to add with the camera or Apple’s system photo picker. The picker gives the app only the photos you select; the app does not request permission to browse your entire photo library. The app keeps its own local copy of each chosen or captured photo, a preview, the paper borders you approve, and any titles, dates, notes, artwork, or book drafts you create.

In the current app candidate, server sync is off. Photos, drawings, captions, dates, and book drafts stay in the app’s local storage on your device and are not uploaded to Made While Little’s servers. Removing an original from Photos does not remove the app’s copy, and deleting an item in Made While Little does not remove the original from Photos.

Cloud archiving, invited-family sharing, purchases, payment, and print fulfillment are not active in this candidate. We will update this notice before enabling a feature that changes what information leaves the device or which providers receive it.

Sign in with Apple testing

Some authorized test builds use Sign in with Apple. When sign-in is enabled, Apple and Amazon Cognito process the sign-in, and Made While Little receives the adult account name, email address—which may be an Apple private-relay address—account identifiers, and family association needed to authenticate and keep one family workspace separate from another. Authentication tokens are kept in the device Keychain.

Signing in does not enable artwork upload while server sync is off. We use account information for authentication, account security, and family isolation—not advertising or cross-company tracking. The public website does not currently offer account sign-in.

Website visits and support

We do not currently use advertising trackers, behavioral advertising, or a contact form on this website. Website hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to include. The app’s support action opens your email app; it does not attach photos or drawings automatically. Please do not send children’s names, school details, or artwork unless we specifically ask for information needed to resolve a support request.

Service providers

We use service providers for website hosting and security, domain and business email services, and—when account testing is enabled—Apple and Amazon Web Services for authentication and account processing. They process information only as needed to provide those services. The current website and app candidate do not use customer information for targeted advertising or cross-company tracking.

Retention and your choices

Local app information remains on the device until you delete the related artwork or draft, erase the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Those actions do not delete originals that remain in Photos.

We retain support correspondence and limited website or account security records only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, legal obligations, and ordinary business records. During authorized account testing, you may ask us to delete an account by emailing support@madewhilelittle.com. Complete in-app account deletion and Sign in with Apple authorization revocation remain required before external account testing begins; we will update this notice when that path is active.

Children’s privacy

Children’s drawings may contain names or other personal details, so parents and caregivers should review what they choose to add. We do not knowingly ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. If you believe a child contacted us directly, please email us so we can respond appropriately.

Security

We use safeguards appropriate to the current service, including Apple’s system photo picker, protected app storage, Keychain storage for authentication tokens, HTTPS for enabled online account requests, and restricted service access. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice before activating cloud storage, private sharing, ordering, payments, analytics, or another feature that materially changes our data practices. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
